Question Mark butterflies have red and orange wings with black spots. The underside is light brown with a pearly white question mark in the center.

Its wingspan is 2 to 3 inches.

Question Mark butterflies live in wooded areas with open space.

They can be found in the eastern United Sates.

Host Plants:elm, hackberry, nettles

Nectar Plants: milkweed, aster, rotting fruit, tree sap
