Clouded Sulphur butterflies have bright yellow wings with black edging.

Its wingspan is is 1 to 2 inches.

Clouded Sulphur butterflies live in open areas such as fields, meadows, lawns, alfalfa and clover fields.

They can be found from Alaska south through Canada and throughout the United States except in California, Texas and Florida.

Host Plants: alfalfa, white clover, pea

Nectar Plants: flower nectar of many plants
