Cabbage White butterflies have white upperwings with a black tip. Females have two black spots on their back, males only have one. The underside of their wings can be yellow-green.

Its wingspan is 1 to 2 inches.

Cabbage White butterflies live in open spaces such as weedy areas, gardens and roadsides.

They can be found from central Canada south through the United States.

Host Plants: many plants in the mustard family

Nectar Plants: mustards, dandelion, red clover, asters, mints
